Invest in Education
Utah spends only $9,552 per student compared to the $15,633 national average, forcing 94% of our teachers to pay out-of-pocket for classroom supplies. It's time to fully fund our kids' futures.
As a lifelong Utah County resident, son of immigrants, and cybersecurity professional, I protect critical infrastructure every day. I'm stepping up to protect our schools, our tax dollars, and our water by bringing honest, data-driven leadership to the State House.
I'm Alan Jimenez. A lifelong Utah County resident, proud son of immigrants, and cybersecurity professional. I am an advocate for better education, science-based policy, and fiscal transparency.
My mother is from Peru and my father is from Spain. They met here in Provo and chose to raise our family in Utah County because they believed in the American Dream: that hard work and education build a better life.
They were right. Between my siblings and me, our family includes a dentist, a teacher with a master's degree, and a student completing his bachelor's. We are living proof of what is possible when we invest in opportunity.
With nearly a decade in technology, an MBA in IT Management, and a specialization in cybersecurity, I solve complex, high-stakes problems every day. My career has taught me that the best solutions come from analyzing facts and making evidence-based decisions, not playing politics.
I'm running because I believe Utah County deserves leadership that mirrors these values: honest, data-driven, and focused on delivering real results for every constituent.
Common sense solutions based on facts.

Decisions should be driven by data. From reversing the statewide fluoride ban to ensuring proposed East Bay data centers don't consume 20% of Provo's power grid, I will trust the experts.
While the Legislature authorized $1.8 billion for Salt Lake sports arenas, Utah County absorbed a 48% property tax hike and UVU was forced to cut $8.9 million. We deserve accountability.
